Paid Apprenticeships in Music Business with Daylight Music Productions

Daylight Music Productions and The Academy of Music and Sound are proud to announce a new programme of paid apprenticeships in music business for young people aged 16-19.

A fantastic opportunity for young people in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas has arisen. Daylight Music Productions are once again looking for apprentices for their successful programme.

These apprenticeships in music business provide successful applicants with 16 hours of paid work experience per week with Daylight Music Productions. Apprentices will work in a range of areas of the music business, including, A&R, marketing, sponsorship, royalties and live event promotion. In addition to this work experience, training will also be provided by The Academy of Music and Sound (Edinburgh), in partnership with Glasgow Kelvin College to help apprentices achieve an EDI Level 3 qualification.  Apprentices will be based in Edinburgh and will also be given the opportunity to travel to Liverpool Sound City in May to take part in the annual music industry event.

This opportunity is open to young people aged 16-19 who are not currently in education and who have not previously completed an apprenticeship.
